July 2, 2014 (QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES) – The Philippines’ most endearing television couple, Ser Chief (Richard Yap) and Maya (Jodi Sta. Maria), takes their love story to the next level in the English, sub-titled version of the kilig-serye, “Be Careful With My Heart” rewind on The Filipino Channel (TFC) this July.
In the first episode airing this July 6 worldwide, (July 5 Pacific time), the Lim family prepares for a special presentation as Maya leaves the house she has called home. Maya has decided to leave the Lim residences to focus on her training as a flight attendant. In this episode, Ser Chief, Luke (Jerome Ponce), Nikki (Janella Salvador), and Abby (Mutya Orquia) accompany Maya to her new apartment. Abby, feeling really sad yet happy at the same time because her yaya is bound and determined to follow her dreams, will be now be under the care of Doris (Tart Carlos). Meanwhile, Ser Chief, Luke, and Nikki prepare for the teenagers’ Junior-Senior High School Prom. They also invite Maya to the prom and she accepts without hesitation.
On the following week, Maya receives a package that is sent by Ser Chief during her training at school. Although she is aware that the package contains the dress that she is going to wear during the Junior-Senior High School Prom, she still feels uneasy because it is the first time that she is going to wear a lavish dress. Ser Chief tells Maya to think of the dress as his advanced graduation gift. Later on, at the Junior-Senior High School Prom, Maya arrives all dolled-up, like a princess. Upon seeing Maya, Ser Chief is mesmerized and speechless and the only word he can blurt out is a “wow!” This certified kilig moment airs on July 13 (July 12 Pacific).
We see an elated Maya in the third week of the beloved “Be Careful With My Heart Rewind” series airing July 20 (July 19 Pacific time) because she feels that it is her Junior-Senior High School Prom all over again.
Ser Chief, on the other hand, could not get his eyes off of Maya. Luke and his crush, Joey (Claire Ruiz) were proclaimed the Prom King and Queen of the Night. Luke finally asks Joey to be his girlfriend which Joey answers with an unexpected “yes.” After the prom, Ser Chief brings Maya home and thanks her for coming to the event. Another kilig moment happens when Ser Chief, as a sign of his appreciation, kisses Maya in the cheek which leaves our heroine in complete awe.
The favorite couple’s first dinner date finally happens in the final episode this month, airing July 27 (July 26 Pacific time) where we see the two complimenting each other and getting closer than ever. Another certified kilig moment happens when Maya urges Abby to express her affection which the latter does. While Sir Chief is hugging Abby, he turns to face Maya and suddenly says the words “I love you” which leaves Maya stunned. Is this finally the start of a budding romance?
