Based on data from Kantar Media, the Alex Gonzaga and Yen Santos-starrer scored a national TV rating of 19.5% or nine points higher than its rival program on GMA, “My BFF,” that only got 10.7%.
On the same day, the hashtag #PureLovePilotEpisode became one of the worldwide trending topics on Twitter. The pilot episode of “Pure Love” introduced the show’s key characters, Diane (Alex) and Ysabel (Yen), and revealed the car accident that will entwine their fates in the following days.
