Barao is freash off a first round knockout of Dillashaw’s teammate Urijah Faber in February to extend his consecutive title defenses to three – a UFC record in the bantamweight division. Barao will also risk his run of 22 successive wins and his 8-year undefeated tenure against Dillashaw in Las Vegas. “The Ultimate Fighter” alum Dillashaw will challenge Barao in his first title match and will try to avenge his mentor and friend Faber inside the Octagon. Plus, Former PRIDE® and STRIKEFORCE® champion Dan Henderson will take on surging title contender Daniel Cormier in a highly-anticipated light heavyweight clash in the co-main event.
Also, welterweight knockout artists Robbie Lawler and Jake Ellenberger both look to move into position for a 170-pound title shot.
Catch UFC 173: Barao vs Dillashaw via satellite on Balls Channel, the home of the UFC, on Sunday (May 25) at 10:30 AM.
