Bela Padilla personally chose to help PAWS since she’s really an animal lover. Bloggers and some members of the press and fans present during the event saw how Bela showed her love to the animals. She did not even showed some fear on them even on the aggressive ones. She mingled especially with the cats after the short Q&A with the press and Bloggers. She also joined her Belavers fans to prepare feeds for the dogs and cats of the shelter. Bela also joined the advocacy against animal cruelty by signing on the freedom wall.
Anyways, according to Bela, she didn’t have cats before but she got a couple of them as a gift. Bela herself owns two cats, one of them is a Persian cat and the other one is a Himalayan Persian.
Bela will be very busy this coming month of June for her upcoming show on GMA News TV titled “Sa Puso ni Doc” with Dennis Trillo and in upcoming indie films “Cain at Abel” with Alden Richards and Aljur Abrenica and Chris Castillo’s horror take on “Barbara” (Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara).
