I attended some GMA Artist Center talents’ birthday and I can say that Dion Ignacio’s birthday celebration here at Bagong Silangan Elementary School have the most number of people joining the celebration. Thanks to the principal Dr. Arsenio I. Honerejos for actively cooperating on this event allowing some classes to attend the celebration plus their drum and lyres.
The celebration started with a sing and dance number from Bagong Silangan’s Majesty drum and lyre corps followed by the welcoming remarks from the principal. Dion after a short ‘thank you’ message performed live in front of the students. Those performances made every students especially those in front of the stage crazy. I felt like I was in my younger years again. Haha!
Kidding aside, those students know how to make fun, how to enjoy and appreciate Dion performing on stage. Among his batchmates on Starstuck, aside from Jennylyn Mercado, he has a lot of potential to be a singer, he has the looks, charisma, the height, and of course he can sing live.
Aside from giving joy with the students and teachers of Bagong Silangan Elementary School, Dion with his sponsors and GMA Artist Center donated some musical instruments to Bagong Silangan’s Majesty drum and lyre corps on his birthday.
Dion will be turning 28 on March 28 and his only wish is good health and more projects. By the way, he’s still the breadwinner of his family. Such a family guy! Maybe one of the best reason why Dion is still single today, family is his priority. When asked how he will celebrate his special day, Dion shared that this will fall on his taping day for “Innamorata.”
