Bela plays Analyn Ocampo in the series which is now running on its fourth season. She is a Philippine-based waitress who’s working hard to save money to study abroad and help her family. She crosses paths with the series’ main protagonist, Glenn Chua, a Singaporean fugitive whom she helps out and become friends with.
The pretty Kapuso actress shared, “There’s a big twist in my character. I taped 14 episodes, so that’s one season. By the seventh episode, my character evolves. So, it’s nice kasi, right now, that’s what’s airing in SG.”
In an interview with a local magazine, Bela gushed over her experience, “It’s my first time to work with a non-Filipino production and it’s such a great experience.” She further revealed that while celebrities have personal assistants in the Philippines, in Singapore, there are only a handful of people on the set.
“It was such a different experience for me, because I had to take note of everything so I could help out the assistant directors since there were other artists to be taken care of,” Bela shared.
Working in SG has also taught Bela to further enjoy life’s simple pleasures like taking the bus going to work, or enjoying the city’s sights during her free time.
Meanwhile, Bela is back in Sunday All Stars as one of its regular performers. She’s also busy making the rounds in several Kapuso shows like Tonight with Arnold Clavio, Taste Buddies, Day Off, and Bubble Gang.
Bela has been the lead in Kapuso soaps’ Magdalena and Love and Lies. Recently, her talent was further recognized when she given the Best Supporting Actress award at Gawad Tanglaw for her performance in the Metro Manila Film Fest entry 10,000 Hours.
