There are talks that ABS-CBN will give their “Goin’ Bulilit” ‘graduates’ Nash Aguas and Alexa Ilacad a launching TV series titled “Inday Bote.” Nash and Alexa are considered to be the next KathNiel when it comes to the number of fans and their capabilities of making them trend on Twitter.
Yes, we are seeing Nash and Alexa on “Luv U” together as loveteam. But topbilling a weekday TV show is much a bigger break for the two.
“Inday Bote” is an original komiks creation of Pablo S. Gomez. It is about the story of a tomboy and her younger brother Onyong who sell used bottles, one of which turned out to be magical. “Inday Bote” was adapted into the big screen in 1985, with Maricel Soriano and William Martinez as the lead actors. In 2010, the same story was used in ABS-CBN’s weekly fantaserye “Wansapanataym,” which featured Melai Cantiveros.
The new TV adaptation of the komiks original will be directed by Wenn Deramas.
