Deniece insisted that Vhong Navarro raped her although the allegation seemed to be hard to prove because of the CCTV footage that was surrendered by Forbsewood Heights, the condominium where Deniece used to reside.
Cedric Lee claimed that he was just trying to protect Denice and that they have no plans of killing Vhong Navarro.
Vhong denied all these allegations and said that he was just set up and baited perfectly by Deniece and Lee. It sounds that the media is showing their compassion towards Vhong more than they do with Deniciece and Lee. We can’t blame them, Vhong is an illustrious celebrity and there’s now way a thing called trial by publicity can be avoided.
Although the issue which involves Vhong and Deniece’s camps seemed to cool down a bit, the social media have already been used to making fun of this case and creatively produce memes out of all the details that they were able to gather. This can be considered as some sort of cyber oppression. Neither camp has been found to be guilty yet but the public are already treating Denice and Cedric Lee as outlaws albeit of the on going investigations still being conducted by the NBI right now.
Another news which involves Vhong Navarro have resurfaced just recently. Former beauty pageant contestant Roxanne Cabanero accused Vhong Navarro of rape which she said happened last April 24, 2010 around 10:30PM to 11:30PM in Pasig City. The emergence of this case is very timely and is giving most of us the impression that this could be another plot made by Cedric Lee’s camp to further stain Vhong Navarro’s reputation and make the comedian lose the case.
The controversial revelation that was divulged by Cabanero have shown a lot of inconsistencies and was also disproved by Vhong Navarro’s colleagues and loved ones.
Bianca Lapus showed on her social media account how improbable that rape allegations appears to be since during that night, Vhong was on an out of town show. He was a celebrity guest for Vice Ganda’s show in Island Cove Resort in Cavite. Kean Cipriano’s congratulatory comment for the success of the show have further backed up Vhong’s strong chance to discredit the accusation made by Cabanero.
Like Lee and Cornejo’s case, Cabanero’s appeal is still on going and the authorities are still investigating every possible angles which they think will be vital to help them solve the case reasonably. But the public never gets tired of judging these two camps and is already giving their own verdicts for these cases. They are bombarding both Vhong Navarro assailants with hate comments which most of the times tend to go beyond the line.
In Roxanne Cabanero’s so-called Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/OfficialRoxanneCabanero), she is already receiving all sorts of harsh comments and even bullied by most of his bashers. The legitimacy of that Facebook page is yet to be confirmed but we will still be going to show you some of the comments which we think is somewhat demoralizing.
