Since GMA Artist Center and Sarah Lahbati have confirmed in the news of their initial meeting to talk about Sarah’s contract, there’s a bigger possibility now that the Starstruck alumna will be going back to work soon. Gigi Lara-Santiago, AVP for Alternative Productions confirmed in an interview that they are open for Sarah to accept jobs outside the network so reconciliation is really in the air. Even GMA Network Senior Vice President for its Entertainment Group Lilibeth rasonable revealed in an interview that they have been talking anew with the “StarStruck” alumna for a possible return.
It will be recalled that the network and Sarah filed charges against each other, after the latter wanted to be released from her contract in late 2012. For the record, the cases between Annette Abrogar Gozon, GMA Films President and Sarah, are still in court, so this could be the next step for the two to settle whatever problems they have.
GMA Films has started promoting its first movie for the year, “Basement,” opening on February 12. Sarah is among the lead stars of the said Topel Lee directed movie co-produced with Reality Entertainment.
Here’s Sarah’s tweet on January 25 for confirmation:
I hope to see you pretty soon Sarah and goodluck on your comeback!
