On Friday, the news broke as Vhong Navarro allegedly tied, blindfolded, beaten up and attacked by a group of men inside a condominium unit in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig on Wednesday, January 22, 2013. The news was confirmed by his manager Chito Rono.
New angle surfaces in connection of Vhong Navarro’s brutal attack at The Fort on Wednesday — The report claims that the actor-comedian was involved in an attempted rape incident as seen on a blotter filed at Taguig police station. GMA News program 24 Oras reported on Saturday that the handwritten complaint did not contain the name of the complainant but bore the signature of Ferdinand Navarro, the real name of the “It’s Showtime” co-host.
The complainant said Vhong, assaulted her and attempted to have sex with her, but she was rescued by two friends who then effected a citizens’ arrest on Vhong and brought the latter to the police station. However, the complainant declared at the end of her complaint that she will not press charges against Vhong.
Now, questions arise in beating of actor Vhong. Who is the female friend? Are there any motives? What’s the real truth behind this? What can you say?
