The modus operandi of the said group was caught on a closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera, wherein a suspect, pretending as costumer, pays a fake bill after ordering over the counter.
He then entertains and puzzles the unknowing service crew until the latter forgets to inspect the authenticity of the bill thereby enabling the suspect to leave with the purchased food item.
How can fast food chain owners protect their stores from this kind of swindlers?
