ABS-CBN have already released their official statement with regards to the untimely leave of absence of Korina Sanchez from her daily morning show on DZMM. Korina decided to discontinue her radio show that is aired every morning at ABS-CBN’s AM radio station. Her show was replaced by “Sakto” with Marc Logan and Amy Perez. In a statement, Korina said she is currently back in school, finishing her Master’s Degree at the Ateneo de Manila University.

PRESS STATEMENT ON KORINA SANCHEZ
Korina Sanchez is currently on leave from her morning program on DZMM to concentrate on her postgraduate studies at the Ateneo de Manila University. This was planned as early as middle of 2013 when Korina informed ABS-CBN management about her intentions to focus on her studies.
