After being appointed as an honorary ambassador for Korea tourism, Jessy attends to her responsibilities and goes around Korea to discover more about their culture and shares it with the Filipino people.
“I am very happy that the Korean Tourism Office invited me and chose me among many other actresses in the Philippines. That is why I want to give back by learning more about their culture, their people, and all other interesting stuff about their country,” Jessy explained.
Part of her itinerary is the Love Locks which is a famous spot for people who want to find their true love. But before Jessy locks in her dreams of finding “the one” using a padlock, she must first ride a cable car at the foot of Mt. Namsan and go more than 400 feet up.
“I used a pink padlock given to me by ‘Matanglawin.’ It has my name written on it in front and there’s a blank at the back where I’m supposed to write the name of my one true love. I’ll leave it blank for now and hopefully next time I’d come back here with him,” Jessy shared.
From filling her heart with hopes of finding love, Jessy fills her stomach next as she enjoys a sumptuous dinner at the rotating restaurant on top of the N-Seoul Tower.
Meanwhile, Jessy also learns more about Korea’s national costume— the Hanbok— and even wears one created by Lee So Jeung, one of the top hanbok makers in Korea.
What else will Jessy find in the beautiful country of South Korea? Will she reveal who’s the lucky guy close to unlocking her heart?
Don’t miss Jessy’s two-part Korean adventure in “Matanglawin” this Sunday (Dec 1), 9:30 AM, on ABS-CBN.
