“At the heart of the Christmas celebration is God’s gift to us, the birth of His only begotten Son,” says GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon. “Through this campaign, we hope to enjoin every Kapuso to rejoice in this most precious and significant demonstration of love ever bestowed on mankind,” he adds.
The full version of the Christmas plug premieres on November 11 in GMA’s primetime newscast, 24 Oras.
Featuring GMA’s Entertainment and News and Public Affairs personalities, the music video revisits the night of the Nativity with the Kapuso stars paying homage to the Child Jesus. Just as the shepherds and the Magi‘s travel to the manger, our Kapuso personalities take a similar journey as they follow the Guiding Light symbolizing the Star of Bethlehem.
“In the middle of the holiday rush and festivities, we hope that GMA, through this campaign, moves us to take pause and be reminded of the real reason why we celebrate Christmas. We wish to inspire every Kapuso to take that meaningful journey with us to our Lord Jesus in the manger,” shares Gilberto Duavit Jr., GMA Network’s President and COO.
