Angel Locsin and Maja Salvador topped the 100 Most Beautiful Women in the Philippines for 2013

Angel clinched this year’s “Most Beautiful Pinay” title, besting 99 other Filipina celebrities, with a total of 1,631,590 votes. Maja, on the other hand, bagged the third spot with 544,598 votes. Angel topped the annual ‘Most Beautiful’ online poll in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.

ABS-CBN ruled this year’s online poll as it captured nine slots in the top 10 list. Completing this year’s Top 10 are Sarah Geronimo at no. 2, Karylle at no. 4, Kim Chiu at no. 6, followed by Bea Alonzo, Anne Curtis, Jewel Mische and Jessy Mendiola.

Meanwhile, the creative team of “The Legal Wife” headed by Malou Santos and Des Tanwangco, recently revealed what the newest Kapamilya teleserye has to offer to primetime TV viewers.

“This is a family story that tells about the journey of Angel’s character, Monica. It will not only focus on the real-life ordeals of a legal wife but also share her stance and feelings as a daughter, sibling, mother, career woman, and friend,” said Creative Manager Henry King Quitain about the upcoming primetime series starring Angel, Maja, Jericho Rosales and JC de Vera.

“The TV viewers should also watch out for the big twist within the story, how the love quadrangle will happen, and why we decided to title it ‘The Legal Wife,” added Henry.

Part of the continuing celebration of 60 years of Philippine television, “The Legal Wife” is the newest TV masterpiece of award-winning directors Rory Quintos and Dado Lumibao. In the story, Jericho will play Adrian, the husband of Monica; JC will play Max, Monica’s colleague; while Maja will give life to the role of Nicole, Monica’s bestfriend turned Adrian’s lover.
