Bea Alonzo is definitely one of our country’s most beautiful celebrities with talent and worth. During the “She’s The One” blog-con organized by Star Cinema, she showed us that she’s not just another celebrity with pretty face, she has brains.
Anyways, when I asked her what are the similarities, Bea has with her character Cat in the movie, she answered, “Siguro ‘yung pagiging independent. I may not look like I’m independent but I am really. Suguro ‘yung hindi aasa sa ibang tao and suguro ‘yung pagiging, ‘yung hindi nagdedwell on problems. Kasi everytime I have problems, iniisip ko na agad ‘yun bang mangyayari five years from now or medyo may pagkaganun ako, futuristic na parang ano, ‘yung parang, kapag hindi ito nagwork, parang lagi akong may plan B. Siguro namold ‘yun dahil sa pagiging breadwinner ko, parang I cannot fail my family.”
Bea’s character, Cat Aguinaldo is a young woman for whom family responsibility has always come first. The cat always stands by the side of her best friend Wacky (Dingdong), a morning show host and serial dater who unwittingly pushes his best friend into a complicated romantic situation just to save his TV career. By the time he realizes what he’s done and confronts his own feelings, it may be too late.
“She’s The One” hits theaters on October 16 and is directed by Mae Cruz from a story and script by the award-winning Vanessa Valdez. It also stars upcoming screen sweetheart Liza Soberano in her biggest, most important and most challenging film role to date.
