GMA Network’s “Villa Quintana,” a soap opera that aired on prime time TV in the late 1990’s is going to be remade again by the network.
“Villa Quintana” was about fighting for love against all odds, a la Romeo and Juliet. This time it was love between Isagani Samonte (Keempee De Leon) and Lynette Quintana (Donna Cruz). This time, the series will be topbilled by Kapuso Network’s new generations of superstars – Janine Gutierrez and Elmo Magalona.
Janine and Elmo already started their workshop together and will start taping on the last week of September. “Villa Quintana” is said to replace “Mga Batang Sisiw” on GMA Afternoon Prime!
