Search for truth and justice for murder victims, most of whom are minors

Broadcast journalist Gus Abelgas continues the search for truth and justice for murder victims, most of whom are minors this August in ABS-CBN’s premier crime investigation program “SOCO.”

This Saturday (August 3), “SOCO” will look into the murder case involving 16-year-old nursing student Keith Ballesteros, who was allegedly killed by his boyfriend inside her boarding house.

On August 10, Gus will revisit the controversial killing of Sangguniang Kabataan chairman Jason Infante, who was stabbed to death by bystanders at a sari-sari store after he asked them how they were doing.

The August 17 episode of “SOCO,” meanwhile, will center on cousins Diana Rose, 15, and Joana Marie, 9 who were both found dead and with their clothes rolled up. They were allegedly killed by neighbor Gilbert, who was said to be in love with Diana Rose.

Gus will then shed light on the murder of 82-year-old Armando Caringal and his relatives Vincent and Celsine. Two suspects tagged in the crime supposedly staged the massacre as they were envious of Armando, who won over P500,000 at the casino.

And on August 31, Gus will investigate the death of five-year-old Andrei Cabuhat, who was severely beaten to death by his very own parents.
Watch “SOCO: Scene of the Crime Operatives” with Gus Abelgas all Saturdays this August, right after “Showbiz Inside Report” on ABS-CBN. For updates on the program, like www.facebook.com/Abs-Cbn-SOCO. To watch the last three episodes of “Krusada,” visit www.abs-cbnnews.com/soco.
