With some of today’s hottest names in the fashion industry in attendance, the launch party will serve as an extension of the journey of style told in the magazine’s September issue—a journey that takes readers all the way to the beautiful city of Florence, Italy. As such, the Metro team orchestrated a photo shoot in which each picture was taken to tell the story of an Italian contessa, a chic seductress, a woman who embodies the fullness of the Florentine lifestyle.
This was a woman who flourished under the spotlight, a fashion persona to be reckoned with, a star who dominates everywhere she goes. This presence will be felt as none other than Philippine entertainment royalty’s Ruffa Guttierrez, the cover woman of Metro’s fashion issue, makes an appearance at Prive on August 28.
Aside from being graced by the presence of such a force in local fashion, the 2013 fashion issue launch party will also serve as a venue to introduce the new directions being taken for Metro’s digital platform, with the brand new Metro app, as well as Metro magazine’s Instagram account.
