After their short acting stints in “Apoy sa Dagat” and “Dugong Buhay,” Patrick and Carlo went full-time in acting on screen again with their portrayal as Lazaro and Makoy respectively on the said teleserye, topbilled by teleserye princess Andrea Brillantes.
Carlo and Patrick proved their enduring charisma and appeal when fans screamed their lungs out for them at their recent mall shows for “Annaliza” in Cainta and Batangas.
Both actors were also included in the “Hottest Leading Men” production number staged on variety show “ASAP 18” recently, where they performed with other current Kapamilya hearrthrobs. Carlo, meanwhile, went solo and showcased his acting prowess in the “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode titled “Kamison” that aired last July 20.
The two are definitely on the rise again as they continue to gain ground in the industry where they literally grew up. As Carlo and Patrick continue their way up, their show “Annaliza” also continues to consistently captivate viewers and beat its rival program in the ratings game.
Ever since it hit a national TV rating of 22.1% July 22, “Annaliza” has consistently rated above 20%, which proves the continued patronage of its viewers weekday nights. From July 22 to July 26, “Annaliza” scored an average national TV rating of 21.5% compared to its rival “Binoy Henyo” with only 11.9% in the same period, based on data from Kantar Media.
Expect an action-packed week in “Annaliza” as Makoy finally faces Lazaro and his wife, Isabel (Denise Laurel).
Makoy makes a deal with the couple that he will tell them how to find their long lost child in exchange for P5 million. Lazaro and Isabel will take the bait but will not go unprotected, as they will get authorities involved in an entrapment operation. Their meeting will lead to an intense encounter in which Makoy will be shot, which will put him into comatose.
Will Annaliza and her family finally be at peace now that Makoy is in a critical state? When will Annaliza’s true identity be revealed to Lazaro and Isabel?
