Regal Films announced yesterday their newest movie to be released on the fourth quarter of the year titled “Let’s Take A Chance.” Present at the story-con held at Imperial Palace on a Saturday afternoon are Regal matriarch Mother Lily together with the actors of the movie Tom Rodriguez, Carla Abellana, Gee Canlas and Nina Jose.
To be directed by Jun Lana, “Lets Take a Chance” is a drama comedy about a newly-rich Lira (Carla Abellana) and her ex-boyfriend Tony (JC de Vera) who is planning to marry Pauleen (Gee Canlas). Lira will then meet Gorio (Tom Rodriguez), a shoe factory designer with an eight year old son with Anna (Nina Jose).
According to Direk Jun, which is also a self-confessed Korean movie fanatic, this film’s pegs are the likes of “My Sassy Girl”, “Love Actually” and “Valentines Day” in terms of attack, flow of the story and the cinematography.
To be shon on theaters nationwide before the year ends, other cast of “Let’s Take A Chance” includes Arlene Muhlach, William Martinez, Paolo Ballesteros, Aaron Villena and Marc Justine Alvarez.
