The first reported rape incident was caught on a CCTV video on Abad Santos St. in Tondo, with the suspect sexually assaulting a victim named “Angie.” Four days later, the same suspect was said to have attacked again in Tondo’s District 2.
“SOCO” was able to speak with “Grace,” the second victim. According to her, she was suddenly grabbed by an unidentified man by the hair and dragged into a jeep. She kept on screaming and begged to be released, she said, until she was left alone by the suspect, who was pointing an ice pick at her.
Police investigation later revealed that as recorded in both CCTV videos, the suspect had the same demeanor and modus operandi. The suspect was identified as 23-year-old Mac Yoren Rapis.
Aside from “Grace” and “Angie,” several women have also come forward and claimed they were assaulted by Yoren. When did this series of rape incidents begin? How many women has Yoren allegedly raped?
