Broadcast journalists Maan Macapagal and Dominic Almelor will check on people who were saved from abuse or suffering brought about by an illness of their loved ones in “Pinoy True Stories: Saklolo” this Wednesday (July 10) on ABS-CBN.

Marites, who was then seven months pregnant, was tortured by her lover with hot iron and by trying to burn her alive when she decided to finally leave him. While Marites is now healing emotionally and physically, did her baby survive the attempted murder?

Maan and Dominic will also revisit a case involving “Nathan,” who was allegedly molested by his own father by inappropriately touching him?

“Saklolo,” together with Lingkod Kapamilya, also helped out a mother from Leyte who had to endure taking care of her three children with severe mental disorders. One of them was diagnosed to have bipolar disorder, while the other two are suffering from schizophrenia. How are the three siblings doing now two months after they started undergoing treatment?

Meanwhile, Karen Davila will check tomorrow (Hulyo 9) two cases or disputes featured in “Engkwentro” that have been settled: a backyard piggery that became a burden to the owner’s neighbors and the conflict between two pedicab drivers.

Don’t miss “Engkwentro” tomorrow (July 9) and “Saklolo” this Wednesday (July 10), 4:45 PM in ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold. For updates, follow @PinoyTruStories on Twitter.
