Juday shared that although she is far from becoming a battered wife, she strongly believes that no woman deserves to be abused in any way.
“It’s just sad that a lot of women, married or single, are involved in situations where their husbands put their lives at risk. That’s why I’m so proud that through our show, women viewers can realize that they should know how to protect themselves and fight back when needed,” said Juday who plays the role of Anessa, a strong woman who is determined to pick herself up after being beaten up and raped by her husband Eros (Sam Milby).
“Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala’ is not just an ordinary teleserye that will make you cry. It carries an eye-opening message that inspires women to become physically and emotionally empowered and that they can take a stand especially when they know they’re right,” Juday shared.
Meanwhile, beginning Monday (July 8), “Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala” will air in its new timeslot, 9:15pm, after ABS-CBN’s newest primetime series “Muling Buksan Ang Puso.”
