Carly Rae Jepsen is set to perform in Manila in August!
The Canadian recording artist and singer-songwriter will stage her first concert in the country at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum on August 7. Born on November 21, 1985, Jepsen started her singing career when she placed third in the Canadian Idol Season 5.
Shortly after the competition, she released her single “Call Me Maybe,” which became the first song by a Canadian artist to reach the top of the digital chart since Justin Bieber’s “Baby” back in January 2010. Jepsen was also the first Canadian Idol contestant to enter the UK charts when the song debuted at number one.
