Join broadcast journalist Atom Araullo in this week’s episode of “Pinoy True Stories: Hiwaga” as he tries to find the answers behind a man’s mysterious sickness after doing volunteer work.
Kenth is a model citizen. Not only is he a good son and a nurse, but he also finds time to help others when the need arises. With his good nature, it seemed like he didn’t have any enemies, until he started to experience fever and foot ailments after he helped in last year’s Habagat relief operations.
Modern medicine would diagnose it as fatigue and stress, but an albularyo Kenth consulted said otherwise after “seeing” three women cursing Kenth. It could also be possible that Kenth had offended different elements such as the kapre and the dwende.
Which should Kenth believe when neither medicine nor prayers could save him, especially when it feels like needles are slowly torturing his feet?
