Lifestyle Network and Working Mom magazine know this for sure, hence, the staging of “Happy Mommy” events, where they treated moms to a much-deserved fun and relaxation.
Mothers trooped at the TriNoma and Glorietta malls with their copies of Working Mom’s May issue, which served as a free pass to the venue. There were booths, games, and workshops. The ladies availed of free makeovers from Bench FixSalon, eyebrow threading from Lay Bare, and massage from Karada Spa; Make-Up Designory provided beauty tips.
The mothers enjoyed grooving at a Zumba class, where they received Caltrate Plus freebies. While the moms were enjoying the beauty and fitness sessions, the children played at the game booths for chances to score prizes from the Body Shop, Mary Kay, Mega Creations Sardines and Ponds. Monde Nissin sponsored a “design-a-mamon” contest for kids.
Later in the day, a bingo game was held, where prizes from David’s Salon and Karada Spa and overnight stays at Shangri-la Mactan, Plantation Bay, Cocoon Boutique Hotel, Picasso Boutique Hotel, Traders Hotel, Taal Vista Hotel, and Maribago Bluewater Resort were up for grabs.
Lifestyle Network’s chefs also conducted cooking demos. Over at Glorietta, it was Sharwin Tee, host of “Curiosity Got the Chef”, who prepared salad dishes. While at TriNoma, father-and-son tandem Gene and Gino Gonzales showed everyone how to whip up easy dishes.
The afternoon of family bonding was capped with musical numbers rendered by”X-Factor Philippines” first runner-up Daddy’s Home and Sam Concepcion. As a reminder of a truly enjoyable day, the moms took home loot bags filled with goodies from Nido, Working Mom, Caltrate Plus,Moski Shield, Kojie-san, Chicco, Glad, Baby Care Plus,Baby Flo and Petron Gasul.
