Broadcast journalist Julius Babao revisits the story of a Filipina who was captured, beaten, raped and was almost murdered by a Korean this Monday (July 1) in “Pinoy True Stories: Bistado.”
“Sophia,” an entertainer, met “Jo Hann” through a common friend. She was eventually invited by Jo Hann to drink in his place in Manila, where her heartbreaking ordeal happened. After nine days of captivity and near-death experience, Sophia fortunately escaped and sought help from the authorities.
