More than just a song popularized by David Pomeranz, “Got To Believe” also became a phenomenal hit romantic-comedy film in the 2002 which starred Claudine Barreto and Rico Yan. In this movie, Claudine Barretto played as a wedding planner and the late Rico played as a wedding photographer. The movie was directed by Olivia Lamasan and produced by Star Cinema, the film production arm of ABS-CBN. This would be Rico’s last film before his death in March later that year.
I don’t know if the story of this new KathNiel series on Primetime Bida will be the same as the movie version which starred Claudine and Rico. Though they have in common – they’re definitely the hottest loveteam of their generation. Anyways, this new series was presented at the Trade Launch happened tonight at the NBC Tent, BGC, Taguig City. I was not there but I can hear a very loud screeming from where I was running. This KathNiel’s newest teleserye will air tentatively within the third quarter of 2013.
Aside from Kathryn and Daniel, the two will be joined joined by Liza Soberano, Ingrid dela Paz, Alex Diaz, Julian Estrada, Jon Lucas, Ian Veneracion, Carmina Villaroel and newest Kapamilyas Manilyn Reynes and Benjie Paras.
