GMA Network’s upcoming TV series “My Husband’s Lover” stars Dennis Trillo, Carla Abellana and newest Kapuso Tom Rodriguez.
“My Husband’s Lover” chronicles the life of a woman, who belatedly discovers that her husband has been carrying on an affair, but not with another woman. Her husband’s lover is played by Dennis Trillo. Carla Abellana, the female protagonist in the story written by Suzette Doctolero, says she’s more than excited to star in the forthcoming series, a first in local TV.
This is the first time the topic of homosexuality will be tapped by a primetime teleserye. It remains to be seen if such a move will prove to be beneficial for the Kapuso network. “My Husband’s Lover” is set to replace “Love And Lies” in June.
