Anchored by veteran broadcaster Cheche Lazaro, “Ang Tipo Kong Kandidato” tackles the political sales blitz launched by national as well as local candidates long before the campaign period and gives viewers an inside track on how professionals package politicians and create images that appeal to them.
Lazaro talks to three campaign strategists-cum-image makers about the ins and outs of political sales pitches and their scientific approaches in packaging candidates. She also hears first-hand tips from a master voicing coach and a popular fashion stylist who share their own inputs in the making of political roadshows.
To analyze why these efforts succeed or fail, to the advantage or disadvantage of the Filipino voter, Cheche will be joined by a veteran director, two respected political scientists, a seasoned journalist and a daughter of a well-loved former Malacanang occupant. Together, they attempt to make a formula for separating the wheat from the chaff in time for the May 13 elections.
