Annie had treated her friend “Dianne” like a sister, until one day, Dianne allegedly stole Annie’s safety deposit box containing P1 million and jewelry from her home.
A CCTV footage from the barangay shows Dianne coming out of Annie’s home with a heavy orange bag in tow. Annie’s niece also confirmed that it was Dianne in the video and that Dianne left in a hurry with a box inside her hefty bag.
In the episode, Anthony Taberna accompanies Annie to Atty. Krisanto Nicolas to find out how she can pursue a qualified theft case against Dianne. Are the CCTV footage and witness statement enough to put Dianne into jail? What is the difference between simple theft and qualified theft?
