In “The Bride & the Lover,” Vivian (Lovi) is sole heir to a business empire. She has a friend, Sheila (Jennylyn), who is a lifestyle editor. Philip (Paulo), meanwhile, is the hottest bachelor in town who is engaged to Vivian.
But on their wedding day, Vivian creates a big scandal by revealing Sheila’s affair with Philip. With each of their worlds torn apart, both Vivian and Sheila leave the country to forget, while Philip is left alone. He gets sick and when Sheila returns, she took pity on Philip and they reconcile.
Vivian returns to find out that Philip and Sheila are about to marry. She hatches a dark plan and befriends Sheila once more; but the tables are turned around when the supposed bride becomes the lover, and vice versa.
