The Granada family won P1 million – half of which will be donated to their chosen charity – after receiving an average score of 9.8 out of a possible 10 from the panel of judges composed of Ruffa Gutierrez, director Rowell Santiago, choreographer Maribeth Bichara, and hosts Vice Ganda and Jhong Hilario.
The family’s winning performance dazed the madlang people with its fusion of fire poi, dance roller-skating, and Isabel belting a power ballad while on a hula hoop suspended in air.
Celebrity siblings Gem and Duncan Ramos’ clan, meanwhile, bagged P200,000 after winning first runner-up, while wildcard winner and girl group AKA Jam won P100,000 for being second runner-up.
Isabel’s family created a buzz even with their first performance last Tuesday (April 9), which trended on social networking site Twitter. The winning family is the first grand champion in the Kapamilya noontime show’s Bida Kapamilya Celebrity Round, which saw a total of 36 celebrity families competing for the whole season.
