Native is the upcoming third studio album by American alternative rock band OneRepublic, released last March 22, 2013 in Australia, March 25 worldwide and March 26 in North America.

On February 4, 2012, OneRepublic announced via Twitter that their third studio album was scheduled for a fall of 2012 release, and that the band was hoping to release the lead single from the album around April or May 2012.

The band stated that they were “not rushing it”, saying that the album “has to literally be the best thing we’ve ever done”. The band subsequently announced songs entitled “Feel Again”, “Life in Color”, “What You Wanted”, “Burning Bridges”, “Let’s Get Lost”, “Counting Stars”, “Preacher”, “Something’s Gotta Give”, “Can’t Stop”, “Something I Need” and “I Lived”.

In September 2012, the band announced that the album, entitled Native, would be released in November 2012, however its release was later delayed.

“Feel Again” was originally released as the lead single from the then-untitled Native on August 27, 2012.A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the single was donated to Save the Children’s Every Beat Matters campaign to support training frontline health workers around the world. The single reached #36 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #59 on the Canadian Hot 100.

“If I Lose Myself” was subsequently released afterwards as the second single and new official lead single from the album on January 8, 2013.

“What You Wanted” was released as a promotional single from the album on February 19, 2013, available to download on iTunes in the month leading up to the album’s release on available listings of the album.

NATIVE Album by OneRepublic is now available in all record stores nationwide and online via iTunes Philippines under MCA Music (Universal Music Philippines).
