Karylle, one of the fun run’s ambassadors, said it was a great opportunity to spend her special day by sharing her blessings. “I’m so inspired to help these children because although they were devastated by typhoons, they are still willing to study,” she said of DZMM’s 75 scholars, who were devastated by typhoons Ondoy, Sendong and the Habagat.
“Takbo Para sa Karunungan” ambassador and triathlete Kuya Kim, meanwhile, shared tips with the participants on how they can cross the finish line first during the post-race program.
Matteo, on the other hand, made good on his promise last year to continue supporting DZMM’s advocacy for education by participating in the event.
Former ABS-CBN Manila Radio Division Head Peter Musngi, DZMM anchors Ariel Ureta, Ahwel Paz, Winnie Cordero, Maresciel Yao, Atty. Claire Castro, and Carl Balita also took part in the fun run, which will fund the scholarship of the 75 scholars.
