“Talkback with Tina Monzon-Palma,” a weekly talk show discussing the latest issues and controversies anchored by professional broadcast journalist Tina Monzon-Palma won Best TV Talk Show, while the daily personal finance program “On the Money” that teaches people how to save and invest, won Best Business TV Program.
Gawad Tanglaw also hailed “Storyline” as Best TV Documentary for its engaging narrative and cinema to tell its subjects’ stories, and “Travel Time” for Best Travel Show for promoting domestic tourism and Philippine culture.
Gawad Tanglaw (Gawad Tagapuring mga Akademisyan ng Aninong Gumagalaw), which is composed of scholars and professors from all over the country, recognizes outstanding personalities and programs from print media, radio, and television.
