“Masaya at the same time challenging din sa akin kasi I’m working with an all-star cast lalung-lalo na sina Sen. Bong Revilla at Michael de Mesa na parehong first time kong makatrabaho. It’s challenging for me kasi I have to do my best para maging maganda yung mga eksena namin,” shared Marco.
In “Indio,” Marco plays the character of Javier, a sinister Spanish officer who becomes envious of Simeon/Indio (Bong Revilla, Jr.) because the latter is the favored right-hand of Señor Juancho (Michael de Mesa) a rich and powerful Spanish encomendero. Later in the story, however, Sr. Juancho turns out to be Simeon/Indio’s fiercest antagonist.
Marco tapes three times weekly for the series in locations as far as Laguna and Subic. Does he still have time for his wife Lara and newly born son Noah?
Asked about how his wife Lara is doing after giving birth to Noah, Marco said that the beauty queen-actress is doing fine although sometimes she is showing signs of postpartum depression, a clinical depression (alternatively called, “postnatal depression”) which is experienced especially by women after giving birth.
Siyempre, that’s part of being a new daddy to comfort her (Lara),” shared the actor.
Marco very well understands her wife’s anxieties and constantly assures her that there’s nothing really to worry about.
What’s good about her rin is that she doesn’t require me naman to stay sa bahay palagi. Pinapayagan pa rin niya akong makipag-hangout with my friends, nagbabasketball, nag-gi-gym,” he said.
Marco may had been easy-go-lucky in his teens but his life has certainly changed when she married Lara and most certainly when their son Noah came around. As a husband and father, his family is now his top priority.
Instead of buying things for me, iniisip ko muna yung baby ko,” he said.
Marco gave a glimpse into the forthcoming episodes of “Indio.”
Watch “Indio” from Monday to Friday, after “24 Oras” on GMA Telebabad.
