Kapuso actor Aljur Abrenica expressed sadness that the series “Cofee Prince” had a short life span, considering that friendship among the cast already tightened up, almost in perfect complement to the development of their acting craft.
In a sit-down interview with Bloggers, Aljur denied the allegations that he’s moving to another TV Station.
He said, “Di ko po alam. Nagulat na lang ako bigla na nung natapos na ‘yung project (Coffee Prince), may mga lumalabas na lilipat daw ako. Wala pong offer at saka walang napag-usapan. Walang lilipat at saka may kontrata ako sa GMA.”
When will be the end of your contract with GMA?
“Nag-end na po siya pero automatic renewal ‘yun e. Nag-end siya this year, nung March tapos automatic renew na siya. Five years na ulit.”
So, after “Coffee Prince,” what are the network’s plans for you?
“May nababalitaan po tayong project with Kris (Bernal) pero may sinasabi sila with Sarah (Lahbati) pero balita pa lang naman. Wala pa naman ‘yung formal na ininform ako. Wala pa talaga.”
Aljur is the cover of Men’s Health December issue. This is his second cover for Men’s Health Philippines, the first was on February 2011. For now, he said that he will be seen in movies.
“Sa ngayon po, sa movies po. Kasali ako sa Kuratong Baleleng at Sosy Problems. Tapos itong kina Jose at Wally (D’ Kilabots… Pogi Brothers) na showing na po ngayon. Meron ako roong cameo role tapos may cameo role din ako sa Basement movie under GMA Films.”
