One of these major events is the lighting (unveiling) of the 50-Foot Christmas Tree of the SM Mall of Asia which is located at the Main Mall Atrium.
SM Mall of Asia lights up their Grand Christmas Tree last Sunday November 11, 2012 at Main Mall Atrium. This is the start of a long and magical celebration of Christmas in the Metro. The unveiling was officiated by SM VIP and executives with guests from the Pasay City government. Entertainment was provided by Ms. Kuh Ledesma and daughter Isabella, together with the UP Singing Ambassadors and Philippine All-Star Dancers. Santa Claus was also there to meet and greet the guests and shoppers.
Experience the Magical and Wonderful world at Christmas Toy Wonderworld wherein cartoons characters and well-loved toys come alive every time you visit. Like for example the Sylvanian Families on November 24 to 25, Power Rangers on December 1 and 2 and Garfield and his doggie sidekick Odie on December 8 and 9, Mr. Potato Head and Play Doh Tubby on December 15 and 16 and Lalaloopsy Dolls from December 21 to 22, 29 to 30 and January 5 to 6.
To make Christmas even more meaningful, SM MOA and its mall-goers can celebrates the season of giving by sharing their blessings through SM Cares’ Bears of Joy project. Gift ideas for kids and kids at heart at Hasbro Grand Toy Fair from December 13 to 19, and make it more meaningful by taking a cute and cuddly teddy bear for only Php100P because all proceeds will be donated to various orphanages and charitable institutions.Most of all Santa Clause is always waiting for you under the Christmas Tree and giving everyone a chance to share all their Christmas wishes until Christmas Day from 2pm to 5pm.
Kids can find out from Santa Claus himself if they’ve been naughty or nice because SM Mall of Asia is giving everyone a chance to share all their Christmas wishes to the big huggable man in red! He’ll be waiting under the tree from 2pm to 5pm every weekend until Christmas Day.
Families will also be amazed with larger-than-life toys covered in bright twinkling lights during SM Mall of Asia’s 5th Grand Festival of Lights Parade happening every Saturday at 5:30pm from December 1 to 22 and on Christmas day itself.
