Vin Abrenica (together with his loveteam on the competition, Sophie Albert) won big that night for he was hailed as Artista Academy’s Best Actor who bagged a total of P20 Million in cash and prizes plus guaranteed lead roles in an upcoming TV5 teleserye.
After the Awards Night is a presscon. Vin shared his happined to the press and bloggers present and he humbly said, “‘Di ko po talaga inexpect na matatawag talaga ako kasi alam ko po naman talaga ‘yung basehan na una ang pag-acting so sa una pa lang alam ko na. Nakapag-acting po ako pero hindi po nila agad napansin pero ang maganda po roon, sinabi po nila na ‘yung pag-acting ko ay meron namang improvement so ‘yun po. Masayang-masaya po ako dahil ako po ‘yung natawag.”
“Nung natawag po ako, ‘di ko alam kung anong gagawin ko. Gusto ko pong sumigaw, gusto ko pong tumalon. Gusto ko pong magcelebrate po talaga kasi ‘eto na ‘yung bunga ng pinaghirapan ko,” he added.
When asked of whom he dedicates his award, he said, “Idinededicate ko po ang pagkapanalo ko para sa family ko.”
Aside from being the richest grand winner of all talent search winners in the history of Philippine TV, Vin also won P1 Million cash, a condo unit in Presidio at The Lakefront, Parañaque City from Vista Land, a Toyota Innova, P5 Million minimum guaranteed management contract from TV5 Talent Center, and an artistically designed trophy by renowned sculptor Leeroy New. As Artista Academy winners, they both became Close-Up ambassadors. He will also be given lead roles in an upcoming TV5 teleserye.
