TV5 has announced that they bought the right from Endemol to create its own version of the hit international game show “The Money Drop,” with auditions starting soon. The hit series is the highest selling format since 2010 for production company Endemol, having already been made in key markets across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.
“The Million Peso Money Drop” gives contestants the full Php1 million prize at the beginning of the show. The show requires two related contestants to work together to retain as much as money as they can as the game progresses. Pairs will be out to prove that two heads are indeed better than one as they attempt to conquer the game. What comes next is not easy – the contestants must answer eight consecutive general knowledge questions correctly while risking the full million. But the questions is, will they be able to bring every peso home?
The new game show dares to ask the million peso questions, daring Filipinos to test their knowledge and skill in order to bring home the full amount of the grand prize. What would the pairs do to avoid going home empty-handed? Would they play it safe or put every peso on the line? Find out this coming Sunday, October 14, at 8:30pm on TV5.
