This much awaited two-and-a-half hour tribute concert honoring the legacy of the late King of Comedy – “Dolphy: Alay Tawa,” happened on September 30, first time in Philippine TV, the three major networks in the country to broadcast a program at the same time.

The two-hour spectacle was organized by Dolphy’s children headed by actor-director Eric Quizon is a fund-raising concert participated in by the three television networks: GMA Network, ABS-CBN and TV5. It was directed by Al Quinn with Bibeth Orteza as scriptwriter, “Dolphy: Alay Tawa.”
