The special documentary about the life and influence of the newly canonized Filipino saint Pedro Calungsod is set to air once again tomorrow (Oct 27) at 9 a.m. on ABS-CBN.
The special titled “San Pedro Calungsod” traces how the 17-year old catechist and martyr died defending his faith, and with almost no historical information written about him, rose to sainthood.
The Korina Sanchez-narrated documentary includes interviews with theologists and historians about Calungsod’s miracles and the significance of Calungsod’s sainthood.
It also features the highlights of the canonization rites led by Pope Benedict XVI at St. Peter’s Basilica last Sunday.
