ABS-CBN’s investigative program “XXX” was recently recognized as the Best Television Show in the 2012 Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) Awards for its commitment to eradicate criminality and corruption and assist crime victims.
“XXX” anchor Julius Babao was also named as the Best Television Show Host by the non-government organization that aims to fight crime and promote justice in the country.
The show continues this Monday (Oct 1) with another set of expose from its hosts Julius, Anthony Taberna, and Pinky Webb.
Julius investigates a priest allegedly fond of going to nightclubs in Quezon City. Authorities staged surveillance for about a week and the camera caught the priest in circumstances that will surely shock viewers.
Anthony, on the other hand, helps a woman whose identity was stolen online by her Facebook friend and used it to sell items over the internet. The woman sensed something was wrong when received a call from Cebu, complaining about payments for an online transaction supposedly made with the person who assumed her identity.
Meanwhile, Pinky probes a restobar in Caloocan City that is turning out to be a hangout place of students who are supposed to be in school. As early as lunchtime, the restobar is already open to students and would even serve alcohol.
