According to Bangs, who is also part of Star Cinema’s latest barkada movie “The Reunion,” she is amazed until now with the huge ratings success of their teleserye in ABS-CBN. “We saw the gradual rise of our show’s ratings but what pleases us more is every time we learn how attached the viewers are with our story, including the Pinoy viewers abroad who can relate with the characters,” said Bangs.
While others cry with the misfortunes of Shaina Magdayao’s role, Sarah, Bang’s avid followers cannot help but join the different battles of Mia, Paul’s (Jake Cuenca) ex-girlfriend who later on became his mistress.
“Because of Mia I was given the chance to prove my versatility as an actress,” said Bangs. “With her, I can be kind, kindhearted, cruel, and sometimes psychotic. Truly, she’s very challenging.”
Bangs is happy that TV viewers are now mature in terms of the TV dramas they watch. She explained, “I’m glad that the audience now are more open-minded because they can separate Mia’s character from Bangs Garcia the actress. I’m really happy to see viewers affected with my cruelty in the story because that means I’m effective as an actress.”
