The UN Population Fund Agency also found out that teenage pregnancy cases in the country surged by 70% in only a decade with a pregnancy rate of 53 in every 1,000 women aged 15 to 19.

The Commission on Audit has found out that many of the program’s beneficiaries are not extremely poor, casting uncertainties on the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s procedures in selecting families.
