ABS-CBN Regional Network Group’s “Trabaho Patrol” which was held in various parts of the country together with the Department of Labor and Employment will return to Bacolod this June 15 and 16, 2012 on Robinson’s Place Bacolod.
Recently, two other job fairs were successfully held in the province: May 1 at SM City Bacolod, where more than 4,000 jobseekers were served, and June 12 at Gaisano City Supermall.
“The moment ABS-CBN steps in and participates in our activity, we can expect a huge turn out. We thank ABS-CBN for always supporting DOLE,” said Marivic Mondragon, Provincial Director of DOLE-Negros Occidental. 3,500 or more applicants are expected to join the event that will be joined by 60 different local companies, placement agencies and licensed overseas recruitment agencies.
All applicants, including graduates, skilled and displaced workers are welcome to this big event and will be offered local and overseas employment.
“ABS-CBN Bacolod conducts at least two outreach programs every month and one of these is the job fair,” said Leilani Alba, the Station Manager of ABS-CBN Bacolod. “We hope and pray that many of the applicants will be hired so they could financially help and support their family and, in the process, contribute to nation-building.”
The “Kaya ni Juan: Trabaho Patrol” is an advocacy program by ABS-CBN to reach out to Kapamilyas all over the country and the upcoming fair in Bacolod is the third public service event this year.
