Two of GMA Network’s talented and lovable child superstars – Jillian Warde and Mona Louise Rey – are all set to captivate the hearts of Filipino viewers as they headline the upcoming drama series – “Luna Blanca.”
This Kapuso offering, which is another supreme creation of the Entertainment TV Group, is the first primetime bet of the network for the second quarter of 2012. With an all-star cast and top-notch production values, Luna Blanca will premiere on May 21 replacing Biritera on GMA Telebabad.
The network innovates once more with Luna Blanca which is considered to be the very first multi-generation drama on Philippine Television. This groundbreaking production will run for 3 generations with a different lineup of actors to topbill each generation’s tale. Jillian and Mona will lead the cast members of the Luna Blanca’s young generation and their characters in the second generation will be played by teen stars Barbie Forteza and Bea Binene. For the third generation, the adult characters of Luna and Blanca will be portrayed by Heart Evangelista and Bianca King, respectively.
Luna Blanca is a sequel to the network’s high-rating telefantasya, Luna Mystika and the compelling storyline of the program will not only generate interest among younger viewers but also give a more extensive and heartwarming TV experience to all Filipinos.
Jillian will play the role of Luna while Mona portrays the character of Blanca. The twin sisters are born with completely different features; Luna is of dark completion while Blanca is fair-skinned. Making Luna even more unusual is her mystical twin shadow.
Joining Jillian and Mona some of today’s biggest names in drama including Raymart Santiago, Camille Pratts, Chynna Ortaleza, Dante Rivero, Marissa Delgado, Karen delos Reyes, Mercedes Cabral, Buboy Villar, Arkin Magalona.
