YakitoriQ is made of either pork or chicken meat, marinated and put on sticks to be deep fried, once cooked it is brushed with a special sauce that you can choose from Yakitori, American BBQ, Pinoy BBQ, Korean Bulgogi and my personal favorite special blend of of Suka.
Mr. Carl Michael Quema, President of Jap-Ok Superfoods Company, come up with this more specialized Yakitori in yatai (food stand/Cart). These are non-traditional menus like skewered grilled chicken and other meat.
The price for this great Comfort food is only P16@stick and if you want to get a full meal of it which comes with rice for only P26, there is also American version with two sticks with rice for only P42, not only its cheap but it’s a guarantee satisfaction. you might want to try their chicken isaw, pork isaw and pork tenga in yakitori style.
Expect YakitoriQ to open on Malls like Victory Mall, MCU, Greenhills, Tutuban Center, in Food Street, St. Francis Square and Robinson’s Ermita next month. This will be another great way so save and at the same time enjoy a different taste of YakitoriQ.
YakitoriQ is the brainchild of entrepreneur-business consultant Mr. Jorge Noel Wieneke III, dubbed “Mr. KaAsenso” of PLDT, Jorge Noel Wieneke III – first started in the advertising industry working for Lintas. In 1992, he established Potato Corner, the country’s first flavored French fries business. This concept revolutionized the food cart business in the malls and was the first to be franchised out. He later on founded By-The-Bucket as an alternative cinema snack.
